Thanks, Christine! That's interesting, obviously. Did you notice it in Intermezzo too? I think that's often a posh Dublin tic, more than a County Kildare or Leitrim one. (Maybe more of a Peter accent than Ivan!?) And it's funny how things like that can be more noticeable on audiobooks (to the point of being distracting...)
